1. Applicability and Contracting Party
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed on EscrimaEurope.com. The contracting party for all purchase agreements is Lothar Ulmer, Kleine Heide 14, 33611 Bielefeld, Germany.
2. Offer and Conclusion of the Sales Contract
2.1. The presentation of products in our online store does not constitute a legally binding offer but rather a non-binding online catalogue. You place a binding order for the items in your shopping cart by clicking the [Buy] button at the end of the checkout process. Upon receipt of your order, an automated order confirmation will be sent to your email address without delay. The purchase contract is concluded upon receipt of this order confirmation email.
2.2. All prices are stated in euros, including VAT, but excluding shipping costs.
2.3. We deliver to all countries within the European Union, as well as to Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
2.4. For deliveries within the European Union, we charge a flat shipping rate of €6.90 including VAT. No additional customs duties or taxes apply for shipments within the EU.
2.5. For deliveries to Switzerland, we charge a flat shipping rate of €8.90; to the United Kingdom, €14.90. Please note that additional import costs (customs duties, customs clearance fees, and VAT) may apply.
Switzerland and United Kingdom:
Import VAT and customs duties may be charged based on the total value of the goods, including shipping and any applicable fees. In Switzerland, a VAT of 8%, customs clearance costs (12 CHF plus 3% of the goods' value), and additional fees for customs inspection or storage may apply. Customs duties for the products offered by EscrimaEurope.com generally do not apply in Switzerland. In the United Kingdom, import VAT at the applicable rate, customs clearance fees, handling charges, and possible additional customs duties may be imposed. Customers are responsible for all import taxes, duties, and fees levied by the respective customs authorities.
3. Right of withdrawal for consumers
3.1. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.
You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
3.2 Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized.
4. Payment and Delivery
4.1. Payment must be made in advance, either by bank transfer to the account specified in the order confirmation email or via PayPal to our PayPal account.
4.2. Orders will be dispatched only after full payment has been received. All shipments are made from Germany and handled by Deutsche Post / DHL. Delivery time includes processing time and shipping duration. Orders will be dispatched within 2 to 4 days after receipt of payment. The approximate DHL transit times after dispatch are as follows: Austria: 2 days, Belgium: 2 days, Bulgaria: 6–9 days, Croatia: 7–8 days, Cyprus: 8 days, Czech Republic: 3 days, Denmark: 2 days, Estonia: 9 days, Finland: 6 days, France: 3 days, Germany: 1–2 days, Greece: 10–12 days, Hungary: 6 days, Ireland: 8 days, Italy: 3 days, Latvia: 6–12 days, Lithuania: 6–12 days, Luxembourg: 2–3 days, Malta: 6–9 days, Netherlands: 2–3 days, Poland: 3 days, Portugal: 9 days, Romania: 6–8 days, Slovakia: 3–4 days, Slovenia: 4 days, Spain: 6–7 days, Sweden: 4 days, Switzerland: 4 days, United Kingdom: 3 days.
Note for shipments to Switzerland or United Kingdom: Customs procedures may cause delays in delivery. Customers are responsible for all import fees, duties, or taxes imposed by the destination country.
4.3. Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided by the customer. Any relevant additional information (e.g., instructions to facilitate delivery) must be communicated in advance. Costs for reshipping due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address will be charged to the customer.
5. Warranty
In the event of a defect, the statutory warranty provisions apply.
6. Place of Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
6.1 For business transactions with merchants and legal entities under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Bielefeld, Germany. However, we reserve the right to bring legal action at the customer’s place of residence.
6.2. German law shall apply exclusively, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protection laws of the country in which the customer has their habitual residence remain unaffected.

Shipping Method:
If multiple options are available, choose your preferred shipping method. You can edit your shipping address by clicking [Edit Address]. Then, click [Continue]. -
Payment Method & Additional Notes:
Select your payment method. You may also edit your billing address by clicking [Edit Address]. Here, you can leave a message or special instructions (e.g., product configuration, specific delivery instructions).
Please read and confirm our Terms and Conditions by checking the box. You can save them by right-clicking the text and selecting "Save as..." or by copying them into a text editor. Click [Continue] to proceed. -

You will have the opportunity to review and modify all details (shipping address, billing address, shipping method, payment method, and order items). Concluded Contract
The contract (including order details and Terms and Conditions) will be sent to the customer via the order confirmation email. The contract text is stored in our internal system and can be made available to the customer upon request free of charge. The current Terms and Conditions are accessible and printable at any time from our website.
